I'm trying to expand a partition that I use for Time Machine backups ('Partition A') from 250GB to 320GB. When I decrease the size of the other non-Time Machine partition ('Partition B'), Disk Utility creates another 'Untitled' partition ('Partition C') instead of increasing the size of 'Partition A'. Alternatively, it will not allow me to increase 'Partition A' through either entering values in text field or dragging the pie chart control. See screens below:
